A special weekend for Outback Bowl sponsors and club members at Saddlebrook Resort June 1-2. The outing includes a tennis tournament, golf tournament, banquet and plenty of time by the pool. College football is in full swing as the Outback Bowl kicks off its fall event calendar with a festive evening sponsored by Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney for more than 700 supporters at Splitsville located at the all new Sparkman Wharf (formerly Channelside) complex. This event is for VIP Club Members and Sponsors by invitation only.
More than 800 Outback Bowl supporters welcome the Head Coaches to the Tampa Bay area a few days after the team announcement. The party is held in the Club Lounge of Raymond James Stadium.
Bowl staff, city officials, and media greet the participating teams as they arrive at their team hotels.
Ladies from both team coaching staffs and administrators enjoy a special luncheon hosted by Bonefish Grill.
Both teams are hosted by the Tampa Bay Lightning for an NHL game at Amalie Arena in downtown Tampa. Watch as some players from each team have a friendly competition between periods. Players and coaches from both teams bring some cheer to children at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa.
Join the teams as they enjoy an evening of fun and games at Splitsville at Sparkman Wharf (formerly Channelside) along the downtown Tampa waterfront. Teams only from 6:00 - 7:00; Doors open to the public at 7:00 P.M.
Both teams and their fans enjoy the attractions and festivities at the world-famous Busch Gardens theme park during bowl week. Admission tickets for the general public are available at the gate.
Join the teams, their marching bands and cheerleaders as they enjoy the sun and beaches at the Hilton Clearwater Beach next to Pier 60. This fun day includes live music, skydivers, a tug-of-war and other contests from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The event is sponsored by Visit St Pete - Clearwater, the Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce, City of Clearwater, the Hilton Clearwater Beach, Clearwater Gas System, Allegiant, St Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport, 93.3FLZ, 970WFLA and 620WDAE Radio.
After Beach Day stick around for Sunsets at Pier 60 featuring artisans, music and more while you watch the sunset on the Gulf of Mexico.
This prestigious evening is the holiday event of the year for bowl and school VIPs at the Marriott Water Street Hotel in downtown Tampa. The event features food stations, dessert room and even a cigar bar. See below for photos from last year's event.
Join the college marching bands at Busch Gardens as they square-off for a special "Battle of the Bands" performance. Admission to park required. Performance Time is 12:30 PM at Gwazi Park.
Eclectic Ybor City is the site of this festive celebration featuring the Outback Bowl New Year's Eve Parade and a pep rally. The parade will feature floats and about fifteen marching bands including the two college bands! The Pep Rally features a battle of the bands and cheerleaders from both universities. This free family event is sponsored by our friends at Bud Light, 970 WFLA, Mix 100.7 FM, US103.5 FM, 98Rock, 620WDAE Radio, Ybor City and the City of Tampa. Be there early. The Parade starts at 5:30 p.m. and runs along 7th Avenue.
Please note: no coolers, glass containers or open alcohol allowed on streets.
Bowl fans can warm-up for the big game outside the stadium starting at 9:00 AM with live music and a pep rally, sponsored by Coca-Cola, The Tampa Bay Times, 93.3FLZ, 970 WFLA and 620 WDAE Radio. Features various displays from Busch Gardens, the U.S. Air Force , Visit St Pete - Clearwater and more. Food & refreshments will be available for purchase. On the south plaza between gates C & D and on Tampa Bay Blvd..
Enjoy a colorful pregame show presented by Tampa General Hospital featuring the pageantry of high school and college bands along with numerous special activities including a flyover and coin toss by a special guest celebrity. A popular Outback Bowl tradition you won't want to miss. Show time begins at 11:20 AM ET.
The Outback Bowl matching two of college football's best teams from the SEC and Big Ten Conference. Kickoff is time is 12:00 PM ET.
Wait until you see this colorful show featuring more than 3,500 performers! The two college bands will perform followed by a massed band performance by high school bands from around the country along with an all-star dance group.
