Since the days of the early Spanish explorers this part of Florida has been one of the most popular visitor destinations in the world. Known as Florida's Beach, the St. Petersburg/Clearwater area is famous for its 35 miles of powder white barrier island beaches on Florida's Gulf of Mexico. Caladesi Island State Park, Fort De Soto Park and Sand Key Park are routinely rated among the top beaches in the U.S. Clearwater Beach has also been named the top city beach in the Gulf region.

Boating is another great getaway, whether on one of our dinner cruise boats or sailing the bays on your own chartered yacht. Visitors can also rent wave runners and sea kayaks, take dolphin cruises or explore the excitement of parasailing.

For a more peaceful respite try a quiet dinner at a beach-side restaurant as you watch the sun set over the Gulf of Mexico. Downtown St Petersburg is known for it's cultural attractions including the Museum of Art, Salvador Dali Museum, Florida International Museum, Florida Holocaust Museum and St Petersburg Museum of History.

There are also many natural attractions to visit such as Weedon Island Preserve, Brooker Creek Preserve and Boyd Hill Nature Trail.

Of course golfing is a favorite pastime here with more than 30 courses alone in Pinellas County. And finally, what would Florida be without fishing? Anglers can be seen on every bridge, pier, and waterway reeling in a variety of catches. Visitors can also take charter boats for deep sea fishing excursions.

The St Petersburg & Clearwater area is what most visitors expect of Florida, plenty to do but also a great place to relax.
