Outback Bowl Tickets go on Sale

Tampa, FL -- Tickets to the 2003 Outback Bowl, the area's annual major college football post-season bowl game, will go on sale to the public on Tuesday, October 1 at all Florida Ticketmaster outlets. The New Year's Day bowl celebrates it's 17th anniversary this year and hosts teams from the Big Ten Conference and Southeastern Conference in Raymond James Stadium.

Fans are encouraged to buy their tickets early as three of the last four bowl games have sold out by early December. Last years game featured South Carolina defeating the Ohio State Buckeyes 31-28 on the final play of the game.

The bowl kicks off at 11 A.M. on January 1st. Tickets to the Outback Bowl are $50 each (plus Ticketmaster service charge). Phone orders can be placed with a credit card by calling (813) 287-8844 or (727) 898-2100 and can also be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com.
