Raymond James Financial Joins Outback Bowl Sponsor FamilyNovember 21, 2000
Tampa, FL -- St. Petersburg based Raymond James Financial, Inc. has joined the Outback Bowl as a Participating Sponsor of the New Year's Day college football game. The agreement includes name sponsorship of the Raymond James Financial Halftime Show.
"We are very pleased to join with our friends at the Outback Bowl to support this prestigious event for the Tampa Bay Area," said Larry Silver, Marketing Director for Raymond James.
The sponsorship will leverage the company's name sponsorship of Raymond James Stadium through commercial spots in the Outback Bowls national broadcast on ESPN and exposure in a half-hour special on ESPN that the bowl produces. The company will also receive various game day exposure including stadium banners that can be picked-up on the telecast.
