Outback Bowl Fans to Kickoff Millennium

Tampa, FL -- The Outback Bowl will kickoff the new millennium as the first major sporting event. But even before the game begins fan will be enjoying the Outback Bowl Pregame Bowl Bash. That's right, beginning at 8:00 a.m. on January 1st thousands of fans will flock to the Tampa Bay Center parking lot, across the street from Raymond James Stadium.

The party is a warm-up for fans prior to the game and is sponsored by The Tampa Tribune, French's Mustard, Ocean Spray, Tampa Bay Center, MIX 100.7 FM and Thunder 103.5 FM Radio. Outback Bowl fans will be treated to live music by the "Quivering Rhythm Hounds" and appearances by the participating college bands. There will also be food and refreshments available for purchase.
