Outback Bowl Preview to Air on ESPN2 & ESPNU

Tampa,FL -- The Tampa Bay area will be highlighted numerous times this coming week as the Outback Bowl Preview Special will be televised throughout the U.S. on ESPN2 and ESPNU. The ESPN2 telecast is set for Friday, December 29th at 2:00PM (ET). ESPNU will air the telecast at least three times including Saturday, December 30 at 9:00 P.M. (ET). The half-hour show is produced by the bowl and looks at the Penn State vs Tennessee match up while highlighting numerous Tampa Bay Area amenities. This year's show will highlight such items as Tampa's historic Ybor City, nature attractions, Gasparilla, Clearwater Marine Aquarium, Salvador Dali Museum and Clearwater Beach. The show also previews the upcoming game between the Nittany Lions and Volunteers with team highlights and interviews. ESPN's Rob Stone hosts the show. The Outback Bowl kicks-off the January 1 lineup at 11:00 A.M. on ESPN and can be heard nationally on ESPN, on both school networks and in the Tampa Bay area on 620 WDAE radio.
