Wisconsin Edges Auburn 34-31 in Overtime Thriller

The Outback Bowl has produced a host of exciting finishes and the 29th edition was no different. The Auburn Tigers and Wisconsin Badgers changed leads throughout the New Year's Day game at Raymond James Stadium before playing to a draw at the end of regulation. Heisman Trophy runner-up Melvin Gordon powered Wisconsin with three touchdowns and a bowl record 251 rushing yards, earning him game MVP. The Badgers won in overtime courtesy of a Rafael Gaglianone field goal, combined with an Auburn attempt that glanced off the upright.
