Tennessee Dominates Northwestern 45-6
It was a beautiful day at Raymond James stadium for the Tennessee Volunteers in the 30th Annual Outback Bowl. Led by a defense that keyed four interceptions and an offense powered by Outback Bowl MVP Jalen Hurd, the Vols smothered the Northwestern Wildcats 45-6 in front of a crowd of 53,202. Tennessee collected their first win of 2016 on the strength of 420 yards of total offense. Hurd contributed in a big way, running for 130 yards and a score. Quarterback Josh Dobbs added two touchdowns of his own on the ground, and safety Evan Berry returned an interception 100 yards late in the game to cap the team's ninth victory of the season.
