SEC Media Days Kickoff Preseason College Football Media Blitz

The annual media frenzy for the 2014-15 College Football Season officially kicked-off on July 14 in Hoover, Alabama at the SEC Media Days. More than 1,200 media gathered for four days of interviews with SEC Head Coaches and players. ESPN and ESPNU both had sets on site for daily coverage. About forty radio affiliates were on hand doing live broadcasts daily as well. Conference Media Days continue throughout July. The Big Ten Conference hold their event July 28-30th.

They joined sports celebrities as we kicked off the 2014-15 Outback Bowl event calendar with a fun-filled weekend of golf, tennis, pool party and hospitality at this premier resort. Special guests included Jon Gruden, Steve Spurrier, Arkansas Head Coach Bret Bielema,Washington Redskins Head Coach Jay Gruden and other celebrities. Tigers defeat Hawkeyes in 2014 Outback Bowl

The 2014 Outback Bowl featured two tough defenses, but LSU running back Jeremy Hill gashed the Hawkeyes for 216 yards and two touchdowns to spark a 21-14 victory by the Tigers. Played at Raymond James Stadium before an announced crowd of 51,296, LSU earned their 10th win of the season and Hill was voted Outback Bowl MVP. The offense generated 302 yards, mostly coming on the ground, and freshman quarterback Anthony Jennings, making his first start, threw for 82 yards.

On defense and special teams, LSU forced three turnovers as the secondary grabbed two interceptions and the punt team recovered a fumble. Be sure to check out the site for the official bowl game news, as well as facts and figures from today's matchup.
